Are there any special precautions one should take while using retinol?
 
Retinol increases photosensitivity, so using a broad spectrum sunscreen is especially important. As your skin will be more sensitive to sunlight while using retinol, it is also recommended that you use this retinol at night. Avoiding the eye area is best and it is advised to rinse thoroughly should you get the product into your eyes.
